Field Portable Spectroradiometers

Gather Great Data in the Field

We believe that you should be able to trust your measurements. With our next-generation spectroradiometers, you can.

Achieve maximum optical performance

Easily manage your entire workflow in any environment

Receive the highest quality, most repeatable measurements in the industry

SVC Instruments

It is difficult to collect good data in the field. The environment is constantly changing, requiring you to adjust on the fly. The last thing you want to have to manage is your equipment.

You should be able to trust your measurements

That’s why we build the industry’s best spectroradiometers.

  • Industry-leading array detectors accurately capture spectral data
  • Optical design maximizes light collected and sent to the detectors
  • A wide array of accessories gives you all the tools you need when conditions change in the field

Technical Details

As a field scientist, your goals are simple. You need to get the maximum amount of high-quality data you can collect in the limited time you have. That’s why we left no stone unturned when we designed our spectroradiometers.

We know you work in all types of environments–spanning extremes from polar regions to equatorial rainforests and dry deserts. And, changing light conditions are always a factor. Have you accounted for the angle of incidence? Is the light intensity the same as your last white reference?

SVC HR-1024i

What about the target you want to measure? Unless you are doing a direct-contact measurement, you don’t really know what the instrument is seeing.

SVC instruments, on the other hand, take all these factors into account and more.

A laser target and digital camera are built into the instrument so you can precisely locate your target.  The built-in digital camera captures an image of the area you want to measure. Each digital image is stored in the data file of the spectral scan along with GPS coordinates so you know exactly what was collected and where.

Plus, the Wireless External Data Interface (WEDI) allows you to connect up to four external sensors including the integral PAR sensor so you can continuously monitor the conditions you are working in.

See how the SVC HR-1024i stacks up against the other leading spectroradiometers in the industry.
